About Me

Born a veteran’s daughter in Denver, Colorado on an Air Force base, I’ve lived a few places in the U.S., but call Georgia my home. In 2007, I was recruited by Apple to launch iPhone and move to California. After working in Silicon Valley for 15 years for iconic brands like Apple, Dolby and ChargePoint, I returned to Georgia and work remotely for Texas-based RealPage. I have 30 years of communications experience, primarily focused in tech for global and publicly-traded brands. I’ve held executive-level positions: Chief Marketing Officer, Senior Vice President Communications & Creative and two-time Global Vice President, Communications.

I’ve been happily married to Clark for over 20 years, and we are raising two amazing daughters, Alexis and Lyndsey, who by the way are also studying PR at the University of Alabama and the University of South Carolina. Oh, and our family loves the outdoors, saltwater fishing, sports and supporting Make-A-Wish Foundation, Mission Fishin and Habitat for Humanity.

About My Work

I’m a results-driven professional with nearly 30 years of consumer and product technology PR experience including working for global brands such as: Dolby Laboratories, Apple, Cingular Wireless / AT&T and Ogilvy Public Relations. I’ve been fortunate to work with global leaders including: Steve Jobs, Tim Cook, Phil Schiller and Eddy Cue from Apple, Stan Sigman and Ralph de la Vega from AT&T and Dagmar Dolby from Dolby.

I’ve lead iconic launches including: original iPhone, iPhone 3G, the App Store, RAZR, 2015 -2019 Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre, Dolby’s 50th Anniversary and San Francisco’s Make-A-Wish’s “Batkid” campaign that caught former President Obama’s attention.

And I’m lucky enough to work with some really cool influencers. I’m credited in iPad Apps for Dummies forward by (then) USA Today journalist Jinny Gudmundsen; (original) iPhone for Dummies forward by USA Today journalist Ed Baig; Missing Manual (original) iPhone book by (then) New York Times journalist David Pogue.

While in the Bay Area, I’ve been recognized in the credits (and via cameo appearance) of documentary “BatKid Begins” for my communications campaign leadership and highlighted as one of San Francisco’s “Most Influential Women in Business” by the San Francisco Business Times in June, 2017.

I have been very active with the following professional organizations throughout my career: World 50 (member of the Brand 50 group), AWE (Advancing Women Executives) and PRSA (Public Relations Society of America). Click each logo to learn more.
